On Tuesday 20th November, a number of Outwood Academy Danum students took part in workshops on the HeppSY Mobile Classroom. The Year 10 and 11 students looked at different courses they could apply for at university and were given an imaginary £2660 maintenance loan that they pretended to use to buy food as well as items for their studies. This gave them the opportunity to practise their budgeting skills! The sixth form students were given information on bursaries and scholarships and discovered more about Year in Industry and ERASMUS courses. The HeppSY Mobile Classroom later joined Outwood Academy Danum's sixth form open evening. Prospective parents and students took part in Higher Education sessions on the bus, focusing on Post 16 options and UCAS applications.
