Summer Results Information

Post 16 Results Day 2020

Thursday 13th August 2020 8.30am -11.30 am

General Student Information

Due to current circumstances students will be invited in at a particular time. Students should have received their allocated time by letter. Please only attend at that time.
Anti-bac wipes and hand sanitiser will be available and we would encourage you to use them.
There will be a one way system in place.
Students should come in through the main entrance at Armthorpe Rd. (only one additional person is allowed with the student into the building)

Results will be available from the main hall in envelopes laid out on the tables ready for collection at the allotted time.

Students to pick up their own envelope up from the table, if they want to open their results in the room this is ok however, students must not linger in the room longer than is necessary and they cannot wait inside for another student to arrive.

Careers Inc will be available on site to support any students who need any guidance.

Access to clearing/adjustment will be available near to SID for any student who requires it and we will have staff ready to help.

Please exit the school via SID walking around the building to reach the main car park.

Due to these restrictive plans there is not the option for students to stay and chat to teaching/support staff/other students unless they have a query/question about their results.

UCAS information

UCAS Track will open at 8:00am

Track will show whether you have been accepted by your firm or insurance choice but will not show your grades.

Prior to the big day, take the chance to prepare yourself for the possible outcomes. As discussed in guidance, your A level grades will lead to one of several possible outcomes. If you need to refresh your understanding of this, there are useful websites such as:

www.thestudentroom.co.uk or www.ucas.com

Be prepared for Results Day!

You need to prepare yourself for a busy and emotional day. We strongly advise you to bring the following:

· A UCAS letter with your UCAS number.

· Mobile Phone (charged and topped up)

· Pen / pencil and notepad

· Log-in details for Track

· Contact details including the confirmation telephone number for your firm and insurance universities.

Best wishes for results day and for the future.
